Food groups

I hope that this question in appropriate to ask here and if not, I apologize. I am trying to gain weight. Something I struggle with is combining more than one or two food groups at a time when I eat. It is easier for me to eat alot of one food, versus a combination of foods at one time.

Has anyone else ever struggled with this?

I am grateful for any feedback or suggestions!

Can I ask how you mean "struggle with"? Either way you need to have balanced meals, gaining weight or no, to get the nutrition you need.
