Hey this sounds like a great idea to me!! Anything to shed these extra pounds I am all for it!!
Great I'm glad someone is finally on board with me.
I ate 1357 calories today and my total I can have is 1500 but I think I will be good for the rest of the day. How are you doing?
If it's alright with you girls, I would love to join in too!! I want to lose somewhere between 30-40, but at this point 30 sounds sweet!! I am shooting for 1200 calories on the days I don't work out, and more on the days I do (of course) I lost 30 lbs on here before, so I know it works!! I will add you both to my friends list!
Thats good if you been up here before and it worked. So what do you eat to stay with 1200 calories a day?
Hi! I'd like to join. I'm trying to stick between 1200-1500 calories a day too. I could use the support. ![]()

I am a vegetarian (I have had horrible stomach issues) but I can eat some fish, so I usually eat oatmeal for breakfast or a power bar, then a sandwich with fake
lunch meat on a pita, and either fish or tofu for dinner. Luckily tofu is fairly low in calories, and I have figured out how to make it taste better. Sometimes I drink a slimfast shake on the way to school too. I can't always stay at 1200 calories, but I try. I lost all of my weight about a year ago, felt great, then last fall I had to take prednisone (sp?) last fall when I got sick, so that along with sitting on my butt and studying for hours daily made me gain back everything I lost. So here I am again~ I joined groups like this before, and they were amazing for the compeditive side in me!
Well this shall be fun :) How long do you think it will take for all of us to lose 30 pounds sticking to 1200-1500 per day? I didnt go over my calories yesterday thank godddddddd lol
Hello! If the offer is still open, I would love to join. I am on a 1250 cal. a day diet and trying to motivate my self to walk daily. 30 pounds would make me a Goddess LOL Thank you!
If its not to late, I will love to join. Any motivation sounds great! I try for 1200 ca., and average around 1200 to 1300.
It sounds like I really fit in with this group. I have about 28 pounds left to my goal and I also try for 1200-1500 calories a day. I'm a first time joiner, so what do you do in one of these groups?
I also would love to join! I have been involved with this site and dieting for the past two months and it has been really awesome! I try to stay between 1200 - 1250 cals. per day! Some days are easier than others, so it would be great to have a support system!

I think most of us are between 1200 and 1500 calories per day. On Wednesday that will be our check in day for how our progress is going as in how many pounds we have lost since the week before.
I would like to join :) I have about 30 pounds to lose (if my weigh in goes okay for this week...) I am trying to drop from 160 to 130. I usually try to stick to 1200 although lately because I have been working out more it has been more like 1300-1350.
So heres a question because I'm having a brain fart...If I burn more than I eat I lose weight? Can somebody answer this?
A) Sounds like a good group - I'll join!
B) sexycoolaires, I know, there are so many rules, but that's the basic principle. You generally (as I found out through a recent posting of mine) have to keep at least a 500-1000 calorie deficit daily between what you eat and what you burn (adding calories eaten, general calories burned depending on your activity level and any extra exercise) and if you do that consistently enough, you should lose weight. Apparently it's best not to have too large a deficit every day as your metabolism might slow down to compensate for the huge losses of calories, but something like 750 should be safe for an everyday deficit, although not realistic for some. Just play around with the deficit and see what works best for you. Good luck!
Count me in. Nice to know which people have similar goals.
Count me in please too. I have to do something for my problem. I can't get motivated and I really want to loose the extra weight.
How can I deal with fear of gaining weight after anorexia?
Your metabolic rate undoubtedly declined while you were starving, but it will spring back as you resume an adequate diet. Some of your... Read more
