I have a question about the vegetables they use in asian dishes so I can look them up and add the cals.

In this picture there is this vegetable that is a rectangular yellow thing what vegetable is this?

What do they call the things that look like a baby version of corn on the cobb?

not sure about the first part but the baby version of corn is called baby corn ;)

Thanks, I was guessing it was strips of squash..but for some reason I don't think they use squash. :/

I don't think it's corn or squash. I think it's bamboo shoot. Maybe MAAAYBE yellow peppers. are you taking about the strip thing closer to the right?

yes the thing on the right standing up that is yellow and rectangular. :)

I think it's bamboo shoots, since I eat it with shiitake sometimes.
