Well...for anyone that's interested, I was born in Poland, then raised in Durban, South Africa, and then moved to Pretoria where I finished my medical degree. Did a fair amount of raising hell and travelling up until I met my husband, Chris, an ex-South African Air Force pilot...and now we're a couple of happy DINK's (double income no kids....LOOOOOVE being selfish that way!) living and working in the Algarve, Portugal.

Anyway, since a little kid I have always had a problem with weight, never to the obeses stage but there were always a few kilo's I could do without, and I have always struggled to lose it . Maintaining it off is just as hard, so I just kept on yo-yoing. But now I really am fed up. I'm 33 and FED UP!!!!

So now this is me taking a stand and not bull*****ing myself anymore!

I can do this one day at a time .....with all your help.
